FAWAZ (AGE 4)
A cheerful boy whose joy and curiosity teach others about inclusion.
Fawaz is a bright and cheerful child with spina bifida. When he first arrived at Ronahî, he was curious and energetic, quickly capturing everyone’s attention with his smile and determination. His strong upper limbs help him move around the classroom, and he loves to dance in place.
Fawaz often asks questions and enjoys helping others. His openness and joyful nature have helped classmates learn what inclusion looks like. He can learn to stand with the help of a supportive brace and continues to progress through regular physical therapy.
Therapy & Support
Diagnosis: Spina bifida
Focus: Building strength and balance through physical therapy and hydrotherapy
Goal: Learn to stand with a supportive brace and gain greater independence
Needs: Hip-Knee-Ankle-Foot Orthosis ($2000) to aid bone development and standing and walker ($90)
Personality: Bright, inquisitive, and caring toward others
