HANA (AGE 4)
A lively storyteller who encourages her sister and brings joy to others.
Hana is the younger twin with cerebral palsy that affects all her limbs. She has an extroverted personality, loves sharing stories, and is friendly toward everyone she meets. She enjoys connecting with her teachers and is learning new Kurdish words every day.
When Hana and her twin sister Sara first joined Ronahî, Sara was shy and quiet, and Hana often spoke for both of them. As Sara grew more confident, Hana encouraged her, and together they’ve formed a bond of support and friendship.
Although Hana is not yet able to walk, she approaches therapy with enthusiasm and courage. She will need an Ankle-Foot Orthosis (AFO) to begin standing and mobility exercises.
